Enthusiastic! Energetic! Christine is a person who uses exclamation points in all that she does whether it's teaching in her own middle school classroom, writing books and articles, giving workshops in school districts, or presenting at literacy conferences. Most often you will find Christine enthusiastically energetic when she talks about books. Described as a “reading warrior,” Christine's belief in AFFECTIVE reading education permeates all that she does. Her mantra is “Seek, Nurture & Excite the Reader Inside Every Student,” and it underscores what she tells her students at the beginning of each school year: “If you love to read, you'll never have homework in my classroom!”
