A Book Blast is a blast for students to do! I do Book Blasts at the end of each school year. Each student chooses his or her favorite book and writes and performs a "commercial." I make copies of the recommended book titles and give the DVD of the blasts to other teachers to show to their students. The list serves as a reading list to help build interest in summer reading.
